I have been working at Siemens Energy since March 2022 as the Global Head of BIM.Prior to this, I have worked as the CTO (Chief Technical Officer) of Istanbul New Airport; where I managed and delivered one of World’s largest airport scope & project from design to operations in Digital Environment managing the design & engineering; project management/control; Quality assurance/control; Claims & Contract Management with executive stakeholder management including Lender’s technical & commercial team; contractor’s team and relevant concessionaires.

Prior to, I worked for the largest private contractor in the UK for major projects in diverse sectors and UAE for large capital projects in public & private sector consortiums.

I received my BSc & MSc in Civil Engineering & Construction Management from METU, Turkey and PhD in Construction Innovation and Technology Management from Loughborough University, in the UK. I am an Adjunct Professor in UAE and published many journal articles; supervised 30+ MSc & PhD students and published `Airport BIM` by 2019.

I live in Dubai, UAE. In my free time, I go cycling near the seaside and enjoy having BBQ evenings with my family& friends.
