John is CEO of Engineers Without Borders-UK, working to put global responsibility at the heart of engineering by delivering learning experiences to 15,000 university students and professionals annually. He is also Executive Director of the International Geosynthetics Society, promoting innovative approaches for sustainable outcomes in engineering. As Head of Sustainable Urbanisation and Director External Affairs at RICS, John led international research and sustainability programmes, and established the award-winning World Built Environment Forum. John has extensive experience in international relations, with a focus on mulitlateral issues including human rights and climate change.
