Dr Stephen Wilkinson (PhD FCIHT FGS FRMA FHEA DIC ARSM) is the Head of the Smart and Sustainable Cities Research Cluster at the University of Wollongong in Dubai. The Research Cluster works on design with sustainable materials, integrating smart technology into processes, advanced additive manufacturing, and renewable energy power systems. Dr Wilkinson is a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and a Fellow of the Geological Society. He has previously worked on Heathrow terminal five, Winchester cathedral, and the Suzhou metro system. He has published over 30 research articles with a main research focus on future sustainable materials.
