By storing &amp; managing building information as databases, BIM solutions are captured, managed &amp; presented in ways that are easier to understand for an international building team. As information is stored in a database, changes to that data can be logically managed throughout the projects life cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n            <\/li>\n                     <li class=\"wpuf-field-data wpuf-field-data-textarea_field\">\n                                   <label>Innovation: How has the organisation\u2019s approach to digital initiatives\/new ways of working has demonstrated innovation? During Design, we educated our staff to be able to design Master Plans, combine the use of REVIT with BIM and other software tools to design elements that were not foreseeable earlier. During construction, we are maximizing the use of new technologies and even social media for case of communication along with renowned collaboration tool software.<\/span><\/p>\n            <\/li>\n                     <li class=\"wpuf-field-data wpuf-field-data-textarea_field\">\n                                   <label>ESG Impact: How have the digital initiatives\/new ways of working made an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) impact (300 words) :<\/label>\n                               <p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;line-height: normal\"><span style=\"color: red\">Environmental protection is one of the implemented standards in our organization. Employees are always encouraged to conduct their correspondences as much as possible electronically by use of softwares such as Proliance and cloud communication tools and accordingly clients and companies we deal with are encouraged to do the same.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>On the administration, going paperless is the main goal. Employees have to check relevance of printing and printing quota and monitoring is set in place for paperless initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;line-height: normal\"><span style=\"color: red\">The construction of \u201cThe Sustainable City Dubai\u201d is one of the breakthroughs for Al Ajmi Engineering Consultants (AEC), being involved in the Design &amp; Project Management as Project Manager for sustainable city project.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>The three pillars of sustainability are implemented in the project. For Environmental preservation, solar panels on houses\u2019 roof tops are providing power to the houses from 9:00 till 15:00 while the public utility connection can be switched off. Solar panels on the parking shades energize street lighting and irrigation systems for the landscaping. For the Social pillar, resident\u2019s interaction is ensured by the several facilities and amenities provided such as the bio-domes, the central piazza, the sport\u2019s areas (swimming pools, playgrounds) and by the periodic social festivities conducted year long.
