This award will celebrate a BIM leader (Manager or Senior Manager) within the construction value chain who has established themselves as a pioneer and exemplary figure in their organisation. The shortlisted candidates have demonstrated significant influence on their organisation's strategy, planning, and management of BIM projects and processes. They have a proven track record in the use of BIM in areas such as design processes, supply chain coordination, scheduling, cost control, sustainability, or operations and maintenance. Additionally, they have successfully led the implementation of at least one BIM initiative or project.

Abuzar Shaikh, BIM Manager at Red Sea Global (RSG), brings a strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Construction Management to his role. With extensive experience in project information management, he has successfully implemented digital delivery systems, BIM processes, and information management platforms across RSG's ambitious tourism developments.

As a skilled leader and a team player, Abuzar possesses in-depth knowledge of information standards and technology platforms. He has effectively guided RSG's project teams in enhancing their digital engineering capabilities.

A key achievement is the successful BIM implementation for Shura Island, adhering to ISO 19650 standards and resulting in BSI Kitemark certification. Abuzar has championed the development of BIM skills and demonstrated the significant business value of BIM throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to handover.

As the BIM Lead at Rua Al Madinah Holding (RUA), have driven the organisation’s adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across three key levels: Corporate Level: I developed Exchange Information Requirement (EIR), BIM Standards, and BIM Guidelines aligned with RUA’s goals and vision. These were successfully applied across five major projects, including Super Block 4, Super Block 5, District 9, King Abdulaziz Road West Tunnel, and RMA's Infrastructure and Landscape development.

Program/Project Level: I guided the design consultants adhering to RUA EIR and BIM guidelines, which led to streamlining the BIM implementation, unifying the BIM deliverables, and enhancing the design quality throughout RUA projects, this achieved through regular BIM weekly meetings and workshops with all project stakeholders, monitoring the coordination and design quality.

Digital Development Level: I implemented several BIM technologies and tools to maximise the benefits of BIM adoption and enhancing collaboration between all stakeholders, such as (Revit, Civil 3D, Infraworks, Navisworks, Revizto, and ACC).

Additionally, I achieved the BIM-GIS integration by linking the BIM models to RUA Geoportal, and superimposing site construction progress from the drone imagery into the BIM collaboration platform, which improved design visualisation and decision-making.

Based on the directions and support of the founder of the organisation, His forward-thinking approach is also steering the operation team towards the implementation of a digital twin for the First Net Zero Building by 2030 in Sustainable City Dubai. His contributions have been instrumental in delivering some of the world’s most iconic and complex projects, including the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Museum, UAE Pavilion, and Zayed National Museum—each a testament to architectural and engineering mastery.

Beyond these cultural landmarks, Ammar has played a key role in more than 20 high-profile developments, spanning luxury hotels, high-rise towers, upscale residences, and bespoke high-end villas. His expertise in BIM workflows, model coordination, and digital project delivery has significantly enhanced project accuracy, efficiency, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

With over 13 years of demonstrated experience in engineering and construction of building structures, I have significant expertise in BIM, from pre-tendering to handover stages. I have been involved in a wide range of construction projects, including Warsan Waste-to-Energy Plant (UAE), Guggenheim Abu Dhabi (UAE), Zayed Museum (UAE), Mohamed Tower (Morocco), Lusail Towers (Qatar), Grand Egyptian Museum (Egypt), and others.

I have undertaken BIM coordination for numerous buildings, contributing to cost control for prominent clients. In total, I have been involved in more than 15 projects personally.

I thrive in challenging the norm to improve projects and increase value while improving BIM work processes, implementing high-end BIM solutions, leveraging high-performance materials, advancing prefabrication techniques, optimising sophisticated designs, and integrating new technologies. Preetesh’s expertise lies in implementing BIM processes that optimise resources and enhance project outcomes. His contributions include reducing material waste by 20% through Lean-BIM integration and achieving 30% savings in administrative costs by transitioning to paperless workflows. He has also played a key role in ensuring compliance with global standards like ISO 19650, securing certifications that reinforce his commitment to quality and governance.

Youssry has more than 28 years’ experience in engineering and construction in building structures, and significant experience in BIM, from pre-tendering through to the handover stage.

I have been involved in a wide range of construction projects, including large-scale high-rise and mega projects, such as the Holy Mosque Extension, King Abdul-Aziz Airport (30 MPPA), and King Fahd Sport City. I undertake BIM for projects coordination and cost control on numerous buildings for prominent clients, including Saudi Binladin Group and Zuhair Fayez Partnership.

In addition, I thrive in challenging the norm, with the aim to improve projects and increase value while optimising BIM work processes, high-end BIM solutions including AR/VR, laser scanning, and drone mapping, injecting new technologies together with stakeholders tom ensure rapid construction and efficient building.

I have recently been contributing through BIM technology to the King Abdullah Mataf Extension project with LOD 400 and SEVEN P3 with LOD 500.

I also engaged with the prestigious Kingdom Tower Jeddah project at the bidding stage and in construction. In addition, I was extensively engaged with mega landmarks in the GCC, including the SABIC Headquarters, Ministry of Interior Regional Emirates' Palaces, and High Tech Park with excellent performance and implementation of BIM.

Huzaifa implemented a targeted upskilling program, training team members in advanced BIM, while leading leadership workshops to showcase BIM’s role in improving efficiency, reducing errors, and achieving sustainability objectives. Internally, he has collaborated closely with stakeholders to implement these practices in key projects.

Renowned for driving high-quality, coordinated project outcomes, Mahmoud excels at implementing cutting-edge technology, refining BIM processes, and enhancing team capabilities to optimise workflows.

As a BIM leader, he oversees workflow management, supervises production teams, and ensures rigorous quality control by establishing clear guidelines for all stakeholders.

With a passion for BIM innovation and digital transformation, I have played a key role in optimising construction workflows, improving collaboration, and ensuring seamless project execution at Saudi Diyar Consultant. As a BIM Manager, I lead BIM compliance, digital delivery, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

I specialise in process automation using Autodesk Revit API, Dynamo, and Power BI, enabling data-driven decision-making and real-time project monitoring. With nearly two decades of BIM expertise, Praloy Nandi has revolutionised design and construction workflows at Khatib & Alami (K&A). As a Senior BIM Manager, he brings a multidisciplinary approach to diverse projects, including high-rises, hospitals, airports, and infrastructure.

A visionary leader, Praloy has guided teams to overcome challenges by leveraging Autodesk tools and cloud platforms to create data-rich models and efficiently resolve design conflicts. He is also committed to mentoring and empowering others to maximise BIM’s potential for seamless project delivery.

As a key member of the Global BIM Unit, Praloy oversees K&A’s BIM management and operations. His contributions, including robust BIM standards development, detailed BIM Execution Plans, and innovative workflows, have consistently improved project delivery timelines and reduced costs.

Praloy has advanced sustainability through BIM-based energy modelling, optimising building performance and reducing energy consumption by 20%. Ever since joining U+A in 2014, Sam has been a prominent figure in not just advocating BIM process but demonstrated exceptional skill and innovation in the use of BIM technology within the firm. Being expert in the field since 2007, he had worked with other globally renowned firms with great ability to implement innovative BIM solutions.

At U+A, he spearheaded the technological advancement and led the team from inception - enhancing the quality and efficiency of project deliverables. His resilient leadership and collaborative skills helped in fostering a culture of technical and technological advancement within the firm. He has always been committed to nurture young talented architects and designer in using novel software and tools in VR, AR, Digital Twin and AI to enhance the design stimulations, collaboration and productivity.

Sam laid the foundation for BIM Collaboration at U+A with a steering committee and established refined workflows, data base, procedure implementation and budget monitoring systems. During this tenure he had bought significant gain in commercial aspects of the firm with reduced production time due to efficient coordination system from design to construction phase.
