With more than 18 years of BIM and engineering experience, I have successfully adopted and implemented BIM across many mega projects throughout all lifecycles, including tendering, design, construction, and handover, such as Makkah Haram Third Expansion, Aramco Innovation Center, Red Sea residential and hospitality projects, Olyan Hospital, and RUA Al Madinah Hospitality giga project.

As the BIM Lead at RUA Al Madinah Holding, I have driven the adoption of BIM across three strategic levels:

Corporate Level: I developed RUA’s Exchange Information Requirement (EIR), BIM Standards, and Guidelines aligned with ISO 19650. These were successfully applied across all RUA projects, Furthermore, these standards became mandatory requirements for all RUA future projects and formally incorporated into all tender documentation.

Program/Project Level: I managed the design consultants to ensure compliance to RUA EIR and BIM guidelines, which led to streamlining the BIM implementation, unifying the deliverables, and enhancing the design quality and accuracy.

Digital Development Level: I implemented several BIM technologies and tools maximising the benefits of BIM adoption and enhance the BIM collaboration, such as (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Revizto, ACC and Synchro).

Additional Professional Achievement: Achieved ISO 19650 professional certifications for both BIM Project Information and BIM Asset Information.

Throughout Ian’s 18 years of BIM experience and 29 years in the construction industry, he has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and innovation in advancing BIM-use across multidisciplinary teams. He fosters a structured and collaborative BIM environment by defining and implementing clear standards, workflows, and governance frameworks that enable consistent and efficient model development from design through construction.

Ian has played a key role in developing and implementing standardised BIM procedures, improving modelling consistency, data integrity, and coordination effectiveness. Through structured model review, clash detection, and reporting workflows, he has reduced rework, improved model quality, and increased transparency in coordination and quality assurance processes.

A notable achievement is his use of automation and digital tools to improve BIM efficiency. By leveraging Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, Excel, and Power BI, Ian has transformed manual tracking and reporting into streamlined, data-driven workflows that support real-time progress and QA monitoring.

He also actively supports capability development by leading BIM and coordination training, mentoring team members, and promoting continuous improvement. His contributions have resulted in measurable gains in coordination efficiency, reporting quality, BIM maturity, supporting higher-quality project outcomes and a strong digital delivery culture.

Mohamed Ezzat, Senior BIM Manager at Red Sea Global (RSG), brings a decade of expertise in design and construction, complemented by a Master's in Global BIM Management.

His leadership in implementing Digital Delivery systems, BIM processes, and information management platforms has significantly impacted RSG’s portfolio. With a robust background in project information management across diverse industries, Ezzat is a respected Senior BIM Manager, particularly excelling in luxury hospitality developments and infrastructure projects.

A collaborative team player and proficient leader, his extensive knowledge of information standards and technology platforms, including modelling, document management, and data analytics, empowers our project teams to enhance their digital engineering skills.

Notably, Ezzat spearheaded the RSG BIM Implementation for Red Sea Shura Island, overseeing one of the largest BIM deployments in the Middle East, and ensuring compliance with the RSG Certification for BSI Kitemark for ISO 19650.

As an inspiring digital delivery project leader, he champions the development of BIM skills and competencies, consistently showcasing the tangible business value derived from BIM practices.

A BIM & Digital Delivery Manager for a semi-government real estate developer in Saudi Arabia, Mohamed has transformed BIM from a technical requirement into a strategic engine for the client’s projects and assets.

He leads ISO 19650‑aligned Employer Information Requirements, BIM scope and KPIs, ensuring every consultant and contractor delivers information that genuinely serves the owner’s design, construction and FM objectives.

On a confidential project, Mohamed has implemented a portfolio-wide BIM execution strategy, integrating 4D/5D, COBie and digital twin guidelines so that data flows consistently from early design to operations. He has adopted AI-enhanced and advanced BIM tools to improve model quality, reduce coordination risks and optimise construction outputs, with clear benefits in clashes, delays and cost exposure. Ammar Al Jamal is Lead Manager – Digital Delivery & BIM who has provided digital leadership by redefining how BIM is applied on the contractor side, transforming it from a coordination requirement into a core construction delivery, validation, and governance system across multiple complex and high-profile projects.

Under Ammar’s leadership, BIM has been embedded into issue management, construction sequencing, quantity control, model validation, and digital handover processes. He introduced structured BIM governance aligned with ISO 19650, supported by clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and controlled Common Data Environments (CDEs). These measures have significantly improved transparency, accountability, and consistency across projects and regions.

Ammar also championed the integration of BIM with laser scanning, 360-degree reality capture, and performance dashboards to enhance construction accuracy, quality assurance, and data-driven decision-making. By prioritising adoption, governance, and measurable outcomes over tools alone, he elevated BIM into a trusted delivery assurance and lifecycle management platform supporting full lifecycle project delivery.

Hassan is a BIM Manager and digital construction leader with more than 15 years of experience delivering complex, high-profile projects across the Middle East. A Master’s graduate from the University of Manchester and a certified ISO 19650 practitioner, Hassan has consistently advanced BIM adoption across project lifecycles as a strategic enabler for efficiency, risk reduction, and predictable outcomes.

He has played pivotal roles on landmark programmes, including King Abdullah Expansion of Holy Haram, Makkah, King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Jeddah, Expo 2020, Dubai, MASAR, Makkah, the Red Sea Shura Island, and most recently SEVEN Program 3 developments in Dammam and Al Khobar.

His expertise spans 3D models development, multi-disciplinary coordination, 4D construction sequencing, 5D hybrid quantity-cost integration, constructability analysis, logistics planning and asset information delivery.

In the past year, Hassan has led the operation of one of Saudi Arabia’s most digitally advanced construction initiatives by establishing SEVEN’s Digital Lab - a hub integrating BIM, ISO 19650 workflows, VR, laser scanning, drones, and real-time dashboards. This innovation improved coordination efficiency, decision-making, and enhanced delivery certainty across multiple work packages.

Recognised for translating digital ambitions into tangible outcomes, Hassan is setting benchmarks for BIM leadership and digital transformation in the region.

As Head of Digital Engineering & Construction at Group AMANA, Mamdouh's work focused on turning BIM and VDC into a dependable way of delivering projects - across conventional industrial design-build and Group AMANA's manufacturing operations. He strengthened how AMANA manages and shares information using ISO 19650 principles, so teams can coordinate with clarity, consistent rules, controlled approvals, and a ‘single source of truth’ mindset that reduces confusion and rework.

In parallel, Mamdouh worked on making digital delivery practical for everyone, not only BIM specialists. On industrial projects (warehouses, logistics, factories), we use BIM and VDC to support constructability, interface management, and faster decision cycles. On the manufacturing side, Mamdouh leads the development of a DuBox production web application that connects design and engineering deliverables to factory execution, giving teams visibility over production flow, priorities, constraints, and readiness, so issues are resolved before they affect output.

To increase adoption and make digital delivery normal, Group AMANA invested in modern enablers: high-spec laptops for flexible work, VR hardware for immersive reviews, 360 captures for clearer site visibility, and virtual machine workflows for remote teams to work efficiently from anywhere and anytime.

Musleh Saeed Bazamol is an accomplished Senior BIM Manager with over 15 years of demonstrated experience in engineering, project management and BIM implementation across the AEC industry.

His expertise spans large-scale, high-rise buildings and mega infrastructure projects, including Vision 2030 flagship initiatives: NEOM Highway 55 (SAR 3bn), King Salman Park (SAR 6.7bn), Diriyah Gate Phase II (SAR 2bn), OSUS Eye (SAR 1.3bn), Special Integrated Logistics Zone (SAR 1bn), Amaala Triple Bay (SAR 1.5bn), and Jabal Omar Development (SAR 2bn).

As Corporate BIM Manager at Al-Ayuni Investment & Contracting Company (AICC), Musleh leads BIM coordination, cost control, and digital transformation across the organisation's portfolio.

His abilities are recognised through the Premium Residency - Competencies Track, affirming his elite status among international engineering professionals. Abdullah Saqr is a BIM Manager at Jasara PMC, one of the leading project management consultancies in Saudi Arabia. With extensive experience in BIM coordination and digital construction, he has played a pivotal role in delivering some of the Kingdom’s most ambitious infrastructure mega-projects.

Abdullah leads BIM review and coordination for the Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) infrastructure program, managing a comprehensive review of 570 infrastructure BIM models across 14 disciplines, including roads, utilities, stormwater, and telecommunications. He has developed systematic validation checklists, established review workflows aligned with ISO 19650, and created comprehensive training programs for project managers and review teams.

Abdullah has been instrumental in advancing digital twin technology implementation for design, construction, and operations phases, bridging the gap between traditional engineering practices and Industry 4.0 solutions.

His commitment to developing BIM capabilities within Jasara PMC through structured training, process standardisation, and strategic resource planning has significantly elevated the organisation’s digital construction maturity.

Gareth has been instrumental in transforming BIM at Dewan by championing the practical integration of artificial intelligence into everyday project delivery. Moving beyond experimentation, he has led the shift from static models to intelligent, data-driven workflows that enable teams to interact with project information in real time and make faster, more informed decisions.

Through his leadership, AI has been embedded across key BIM processes, including coordination, clash management, document control and model interrogation. These initiatives have delivered measurable outcomes, with workflow accelerations ranging from significant time reductions in coordination preparation to automation speeds far faster than traditional manual tasks.

By connecting BIM data through cloud platforms and structured APIs, Gareth has helped turn fragmented project information into a unified, actionable resource that improves accuracy, consistency and transparency across disciplines.

Gareth has driven company-wide adoption by making AI accessible within familiar tools, empowering teams to automate repetitive work and refocus efforts on design quality, problem-solving and strategic thinking.

Muhammad Hashim Khater is a leading BIM strategist and digital delivery expert with nearly three decades of architectural and technical experience. Head of the Digital Delivery Department and BIM leader on major regional and international programs, he has transformed BIM from a modelling function into a core organisational strategy that drives efficiency, collaboration, and innovation.

He has overseen BIM implementation across hundreds of projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams and mentoring large groups of BIM managers and coordinators. His work established comprehensive BIM standards, execution frameworks, and governance procedures aligned with global best practices, ensuring consistent and high-quality digital delivery throughout design and construction.

Hashim is also recognised for advancing innovation in the built environment. He has championed the integration of AI, automation, laser scanning, and augmented reality into BIM workflows, improving productivity, accuracy, and data-driven decision-making.

He initiated BIM research and development streams, supported automated quantity take-off and cost estimation solutions, and led enterprise adoption of Autodesk Construction Cloud technologies.

Beyond technology, he has strengthened organisational capability through training programmes, BIM guidelines, technical leadership, and industry knowledge sharing, establishing a culture of digital excellence and continuous improvement.

I am a Digital Delivery and BIM Leader with over 20 years of experience in engineering, construction, and enterprise BIM implementation across complex, large-scale developments in the Middle East. I have led ISO 19650-aligned information management frameworks and BIM governance strategies across multi-programme environments, including giga-scale developments such as the Red Sea Global programme.

My focus extends beyond model coordination to embedding BIM as an organisational and business enabler. I have established structured governance, Common Data Environment integration, supply-chain compliance frameworks, and lifecycle information strategies that improved collaboration, enhanced information reliability, and reduced coordination risk across multidisciplinary teams.

With more than 11 years of engineering and construction experience, Sandeep Kumar Singh delivers end‑to‑end BIM and Information Management leadership from pre‑tender through handover and Asset Information Model readiness across buildings, airports, ports & maritime facilities, and major infrastructure.

As BIM Manager at Jacobs, he has led BIM delivery for NEOM Oxagon Port, Red Sea Airport (Landside), Saqr 2.0 RAK Ports Infrastructure, King Salman International Complex, Al Yasmeen Development, Damac Volta Tower, and major confidential infrastructure - standardising information and coordinating multi‑party delivery at scale.
