Dr. Ali Ismail works since 2019 as a BIM & Digital Construction expert in Dubai Municipality. He is currently helping in implementing Dubai BIM Roadmap, developing Dubai BIM standard and managing UAE buildingSMART chapter. He holds a PhD degree in civil engineering from TU Dresden-Germany . His expertise is in Open BIM and advanced construction project planning using simulation. He published about twenty scientific papers in prestigious journals and conference proceedings and received several awards . He joined the judging panels of many regional and international awards in the field of BIM and digital construction.
