A well-documented, passionate and unapologetically disruptive Chartered Quantity Surveyor (RICS) & Chartered Construction Manager (CIOB), he is the visionary mind behind AI-QS, an emerging (5D) DTaaS solution designed to ‘reshape’ the role of the Professional QS, through his body of work now spanning 30+years. Dr Abisogun was awarded an OBE by the late HMQEII (UK) in 2018, for Services to Diversity and Young People in the construction industry. A strategic advisor on ‘digital twin’ solutions with a commercial (5D) bias, he continues to develop his subject matter expertise across a global portfolio of client facing stakeholders. Building upon his work delivered as part of the U.K. Govt (National Digital Twin Programme, NDTp) at the University of Cambridge / Centre for Digital Built Britain, he is a co/author of the Digital Twin Toolkit (published in February 2021) and resultant, Gemini Papers (published March 2022). Following his role on the NDTp, Dr Abisogun remains a recently appointed, 2024 Nima Ambassador (UK BIM Alliance) and he is also the (UK) Sector Lead for Digital Skills and Building Capability at the Digital Twin Hub, hosted by Connected Places Catapult.
